Plus ça change, plus c'est pareil!

Le plaisir de lire de vieux Peanuts comme je le fais ces temps-ci, c'est de voir à quel point le monde n'a pas changé en 50 ans. Je vous donne ces deux exemples:

18 mars 1963:
Linus: Good grief! I'm doomed! I didn't make the honor roll this month!
Linus: This will be a shock to my mom and dad... They want me to be the smartest kid in the world.
Charlie Brown: What do you think will happen?
Linus: Well, obviously, the first step will be to put in a complaint about the teacher!

23 octobre 1959:
Charlie Brown: I've never been so mad in all my life!
Charlie Brown: I went down to the store to get a Halloween mask and they were all out of them!
Patty: Aren't they going to order any more?
Charlie Brown: Ha! Are you kidding?
Charlie Brown: They were busy putting up Christmas decorations!
